• backtagging | Yes!!! I work third shift so I rely on backtagging.
• threadhopping | Go for it! I love that sort of spontaneity!
• fourthwalling | Sure, Nico is accustomed to the idea of the people he knows being thought of as fictional, and also being intrusively observed by people beyond reach/comprehension, so he'd even take it fairly in stride.
• offensive subjects/triggers | I'd appreciate a label or heads up on specifically pictures or videos of bugs/spiders, text descriptions are fine: it is not a trigger, I just find them unpleasant and would prefer to brace myself before looking. I have no triggers and am open to all content.

• physical affection | This will take working up to because while Nico is extremely thirsty for acceptance and love and he would die for even the smallest crumbs of physical affection, he has a pile of trust issues taller than Mount Olympus and also he thinks he has to deny himself that stuff. So please yes but it's gonna have to be slow burn to... you know, regular friendly touching. (Ridiculous, sorry.) First attempts and attempts without CR are likely to be rudely rebuffed.
• physical violence | Absolutely. Nico is far more comfortable with sword fighting than he is with hugs. See Nico's powers.
• romance/flirting | Nico is gay and per his canon point is about to start to date someone in that kids-holding-hands-at-lunch sort of way, but I also love playing out aimless crushes and am certainly not opposed to starting different relationships in game because teenagers gonna be teenagers. He tends to be attracted to people he sees as genuinely good and/or heroic, especially if they like bother to look at him more than one (1) time, it's just that he will probably never actually inform someone if he develops a crush he will just, u know.
• sexual content | Not for another few years, he is only 14 currently.
• psychic abilities | Nico has an impressive amount of willpower even by the standards of Greek mythological canon, so any mind control sort of thing that requires a weak will might have to be plotted around with substances or distraction or something, but generally speaking I'm open to Nico being affected by psychic powers. Nico's own psychic abilities give him the power to command the dead (spirits, skeletons) to do his bidding, though in game that will not extend to things like vampires or people returned to life by game mechanics. (Sleeper Creature ghosts however will count, as long as ooc permission is given.)
• magic/powers | Nico can be affected by magic and powers!
• medical information | Nico's resting body temperature is lower than a normal person's, his hands are usually described by other characters as being "ice cold" to the touch. He can survive on significantly less food and sleep than a regular human, but only if pushed (generally speaking if resources are available and he feels safe enough to do so, he will eat and sleep as much as a normal teenager.) When he gets either seriously injured or too emotional, he radiates death in such a way that it causes plant life to wither and die around him, whoops.
• in-character triggers | Nico is claustrophobic after nearly suffocating and starving to death while trapped in a very big jar for several days (yeah), and is deeply traumatized from time spent in Tartarus (Hell, basically), which may come up in dreams. He also experienced being outed very, very much against his will, and though he has taken some steps towards accepting that part of himself after being around modern teens with contemporary morals long enough (by contrast, he grew up in the 30s) he still kept it a secret from every single person he knew for the majority of his life and he is likely to relapse in the face of more overt homophobia.
• content warnings | Nico is blasé about death related things he has witnessed/experienced, including rampant violence against children/teens, the sort of gruesome methods of torture that were all over Greek/Roman mythological stories. It is never really directly addressed by canon because Percy Jackson is aimed at younger readers, but as the greater greek mythological canon exists be aware that peripherally there are the almost constant acts of extremely dubious (or outright nonexistent) consent. Often the perpetrators were members of Nico's godly side of the family. Some of this is likely to get referenced in either meta or conversation with him—he doesn't support it, but he has become worryingly desensitized to a lot of it. I will absolutely look at permissions posts before bringing up anything specific in a tag but let me know if there's any more precautions you'd like me to take either on this post or in PM.

If you are interested at all in playing with the fact that Nico has an innate sense of death (literal godmodding), especially since he's an obsessive information hoarder with very little respect for boundaries that aren't his own, please fill out the following and leave me a comment! Can Nico make public comments about these things?: Because Nico wouldn't necessarily not put someone on blast for cheating death, or like make semi-cryptic comments that your CR can probably decipher. This could be just a yes/no, or if you have certain circumstances that have to be in place before it gets brought up (IE: not around certain characters, only if we're doing certain kinds of plots, etc) let me know.

Has your character died before?: She's died... 10 times... Between her canon and Deerington, plus several missed calls. She was "revived" the first 6 times by Max using her rewind powers to save her life (shot three times, hit by a train, euthanized, and once in a massive hurricane), three times were in Deerington - her first death she was revived by Angela Ziegler using her fancy nanite resurrection, and the other two she went through the death process. Her last death in canon was permanent, so she's technically undead.
Can Nico make public comments about these things?: Go for it, dude. She's pretty open about having died multiple times, but not how, or that she's permanently dead in canon.
Anything else?: When Chloe's kept alive, the whole world is out of balance, to the point where it literally almost wiped out her town, so that's... fun? She's a literal death magnet now. It's fine. Probably.

Has your character died before?: Y, once in canon via getting laser blasted through the heart, once in Deerington so far via drowning. The canon death was permanent and the Deerington death she came back after a week like everyone does.

Does your character have a mortal soul?: We think so? The "connection" might be a bit tenuous (In some ways, he's a cousin to the weird zombie-mutant bioweapons he used to develop, except he retained his personality, intellect and some amount of his humanity).
Has your character died before?: In canon, once (gored through the abdomen by a clawed mutant bioweapon, and resuscitated a few minutes later thanks to Better Living Through Genetically Modded Viruses), followed by a number of incidents that would kill a normal human being (fourteen steel I-beams dropped on him, someone tried to light him on fire, most recently got shoved out a window and down an oceanside cliff-face by a former teammate and trainee)
Can Nico make public comments about these things?: We welcome it: it will embarrass him and freak him out, even if he doesn't show it much.

Does your character have a mortal soul?: Very likely! (Canon is a little odd about the supernatural, but for argument's sake, we'll say he does)
Has your character died before?: Oh so many times: he's been zapped to death, shot, stabbed, run over by wild horses, been through two World Wars, fallen off a cliff, starved to death and had a misadventure with a stray javelin. That's just a small sampling. A very small sampling. Safe to say, Jack might break Nico's brain.
Can Nico make public comments about these things?: Sure thing! It's no secret and he's not ashamed of it. If anything, he might find it hilarious and tease Nico as a form of banter.
